TCI EXPO is excited to reunite the tree care industry in Indianapolis. Our team is committed to creating an event experience where our attendees, partners, and exhibitors can safely and effectively conduct business and provide quality learning and networking opportunities.
TCIA’s Health & Safety Plan is in accordance with state, local, and Indiana Convention Center requirements. We are actively monitoring and adapting this plan based on the requirements provided to TCIA.

Face Masks
- TCIA recommends that all attendees, partners, and exhibitors, regardless of vaccine status, wear face masks while indoors at TCI-EXPO, including on the tradeshow floor and during educational sessions. This follows current CDC recommendations.
- Free face masks will be available at both the TCI EXPO registration booth and the TCI EXPO help desk.
General Health and Safety Measures for EXPO
General
- TCIA recommends that all attendees, partners, and exhibitors over the age of 12 get vaccinated before attending TCI EXPO. This follows current CDC recommendations.
- There will be graphics and signage with reminders for practicing good health and safety habits installed at all entrances and throughout the building
- Hospital-grade air filters and 24/7 air circulation are in operation at the Indiana Convention Center.
First Aid and Sanitation Measures for EXPO
- Staffed first aid station located in the Indiana Convention Center.
- Multiple hand sanitizer dispensers located throughout the facility for staff and visitors alike on columns (near rooms in lobby) and inside the TCI EXPO tradeshow.
- Plexiglass sneeze guards at all reception areas and at all service areas.
- Extra hand sanitizer at TCIA registration and the TCIA booth.
- Touchless, automatic toilets, sinks and soap dispensers in all restrooms.
- Hands-free elbow door openers on all exterior and interior entry points.
- Increased cleaning and disinfection with the Clorox 360 system.
- Exhibitors have access to enhanced cleaning and disinfection services for their booths.
- Exhibitors have access to sneeze guards for their booths.
- Modified food service policies, including touchless payment options.
- Paperless registration for TCI EXPO.
- Paperless CEU registration and digital handout distribution for educational sessions.
- Paperless payment options at TCIA registration and the TCIA booth.

PREPARING AND TRAVELLING TO EXPO
- Consider getting vaccinated if you are not already vaccinated. Review this Vaccine Fact Sheet DOWNLOAD PDF provided to TCI EXPO attendees by the State of Indiana.
- Airlines, all public transportation, and most private transportation services require that you wear a face mask. Don’t forget yours as you travel!
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
- Are you symptom-free? If you feel sick, please stay home. Use the CDC’s COVID-19 Self-Checker guide to learn more about symptoms and to complete your self-assessment. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/symptoms-testing/coronavirus-self-checker.html .
DURING THE SHOW
- Please follow all recommended Health & Safety Measures including washing your hands often, covering your cough or sneeze, and staying home if you are sick.
- TCI EXPO is a “no-shaming zone.” Please treat staff, security and fellow exhibitors/attendees with respect for their mask-wearing decisions. We’ve increased staff and security to provide the BEST customer service and information accessibility.
- Feeling sick unexpectedly at the show? Medical personnel will be onsite at the Indiana Convention Center first aid station to assist anyone feeling unwell.
WHAT IF I CANCEL BECAUSE I FEEL SICK OR I GET SICK?
- Attendees can take advantage of our no-questions-asked refund policy, so there is no need to worry! See TCI EXPO cancellation terms here. This policy does not apply to exhibitors.
WHAT IF I BEGIN TO FEEL ILL WHILE I AM AT TCI EXPO?
- We will have a first aid station available onsite for anyone feeling ill or who has a fever. Please report immediately to the first aid station for medical support.
- Stop attending TCI EXPO immediately
WHAT IF I TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID?
- TCI EXPO attendees or exhibitors who test positive for COVID 19 any time between Nov. 3 to Nov. 20, 2021 are asked to report the positive test to TCIA. Call 800-733-2622.
The current state of Indiana Covid Requirements is reviewed by TCIA on a weekly basis.
We will update this page with any changing information as we receive it.
Please note that TCIA reserves the right to require attendees to adhere to stricter protocols than what may be mandated locally. Registrants who are uncomfortable with these guidelines may request a refund. Attendees who refuse to comply with the guidelines will be issued a refund and barred from participating in the event.
