TCIA Ancillary Event
Policy and Form
TCIA has recognized that exhibitors and attendees seek to maximize their networking opportunities and professional responsibilities while at TCIA events, such as TCI EXPO and WMC. Oftentimes these opportunities come in the form of “ancillary events,” which are non-TCIA-sponsored events, such as business meetings, workshops, or social gatherings.
TCIA appreciates these ancillary events and would like to provide support however we can. But in order for TCIA to recognize an ancillary event, the host of the ancillary event is required to register the event with TCIA. This requirement helps TCIA ensure that all events run smoothly in consideration of ancillary events.

If you are planning to host any type of ancillary event before or after a TCIA event, we ask you to:
Definition of Ancillary Events
Ancillary events are non-TCIA-sponsored events, such as business meetings, workshops, or social gatherings, held in conjunction with a TCIA event such as TCI EXPO, WMC, or EAW. Ancillary events are not planned or sponsored by TCI EXPO.
TCIA consideration of Ancillary Events and related expectations
TCIA’s ability to support Ancillary events is limited, however, we will endeavor to provide support when possible. Potential benefits provided to your ancillary event, if any, are considered on a first-come-first-served basis. No Ancillary event registrations will be accepted less than three months prior to the TCIA event to which it is attached.
Scheduling of Ancillary Events
Ancillary events cannot be held in conflict with any TCIA meeting agenda item, including open times for trade show floors and TCIA registration and member booths to avoid diverting TCIA event attendees or potential attendees away from the official TCIA event, agenda items, or related TCIA sponsored or evening events.
TCI EXPO exhibitors have additional responsibilities per the exhibitor contract and shall not participate in, publicize or sponsor any meeting, educational session, event, demonstration, hospitality room, meal, or any other activity by a non-exhibiting company, the purpose of which may be reasonably construed to attract or divert TCI EXPO attendees or potential attendees away from the TCI EXPO, seminar hours or TCIA sponsored or other TCI EXPO evening events. Exhibitor displays and/or activity must take place inside the confines of the contracted booth space and during TCI EXPO show floor hours only.
