The art of movement is both captivating and elusive. Sure, we can all move around in a tree, but how do we maximize momentum and carry that movement out limbs. Whether it be in removal or pruning, we as climbing arborists need to know how to maximize our energy and use momentum to help us rather than hurt us. Jeff will cover the basics in what is required for generating momentum and how to carry that forward in the art of tree climbing. Whether it be wearing spikes or ascenders, there are always ways to improve our movement and efficiency to be more productive, safer and have more fun aloft.

Jeff Inman loves long limb walks on stretching branches. He is the national safety director for Canopy SPS and serves in a safety and training role for their nationwide companies. He is a proud husband and father and in his spare time can be found climbing rocks or trees with them. He is a TCIA Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP).
