Great connecting with our members in Arden Hills, MN during our recent TCIA Member Meetup, held alongside the Minnesota Shade Tree Short Course! It was a great opportunity to catch up face-to-face, share insights from the field, and strengthen the relationships that keep our industry growing. We always appreciate the chance to hear directly from our members—thanks to everyone who joined us! 🌳

As the principal of Redwood Consulting Arborists in Pennsylvania, Monika Buczko’s days may include leading weekly safety training, meeting clients on job sites, conducting tree diagnostics or working behind the scenes on legal cases. Safety is the common thread running through it all.
If you ask her what a typical workday looks like, she’ll laugh and tell you there isn’t one. “That’s one of the reasons I love what I do,” she says. “Every day brings a new assignment, a new client and a new challenge. I’m always learning.”

Tree care professionals gathered in Salt Lake City for an impactful morning focused on elevating operations through the ANSI A300 Tree Care Standards. Hosted by the Utah Community Forest Council and the ISA Utah Chapter at Vermeer Mountain West, this workshop brought together industry leaders and A300 Committee members to break down how these standards can transform the way tree care companies approach work specifications, proposals, and job execution. From pruning and tree risk standards to real-world applications, attendees gained practical insights to streamline operations, improve communication between sales teams and crews, and ultimately deliver higher-quality outcomes with fewer errors or callbacks. A big thank you to all the presenters and participants who made this educational event a success!
