Levi Woodal, Cumberland Valley Tree Service
This session presents canopy access as a decision-making process driven by route planning, anchor selection, and system setup. Attendees will learn how to evaluate the scope of work, assess tree structure, and choose effective tie-in points based on climbing objectives. Emphasis is placed on building intentional systems, adapting to real-world limitations, and improving efficiency before leaving the ground. Supporting concepts such as throwline use and access methods will be discussed to reinforce a complete approach to canopy access.
