Biography
Stewart, Talia – Mill Market
Talia Stewart leads Mill Market’s operations across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, building strong connections between tree services and sawmills to keep valuable logs in circulation. She has a degree in Ecological Forest Management from Paul Smith’s College, and hands-on experience across many corners of the wood products industry. When she’s not moving logs, you’ll find her terraforming her Maine property and being (lovingly) attacked by her dog.
Preminger, Mike – Mill Market
Mike is a co-founder of Mill Market, where he leads log acquisition and sourcing strategy. He launched the platform to connect local tree services to the lumber supply chain, starting in New England and now expanding nationally. He holds a Master’s in Forest Pathology from SUNY-ESF and previously worked as a forester and arborist in California, managing post-wildfire cleanup operations. His deep field experience shapes Mill Market’s approach to building a more circular, resilient wood economy.
